An itch you just can’t scratch is irritating for anyone. But for horses covered in hair it can be maddening! Parasites such as horse lice are one of the most common causes of itching in horses and are unfortunately very common.
This year has kicked off with more riding than ever. Usually it's a great time to give them some time off with the rubbish weather, and short days, however this year has been great for the weather so we have carried on like normal.

We managed to get two lessons in, one on each weekend for Bob. The first one was fantastic, we did some bounce fences (which yes I was worried he would revert back to his old ways and jump as a spread instead of a bounce – but luckily he didn’t!)
