As we are coming to the end of August, so the evenings are starting to draw in. It is this switch in daylight hours – not the cooler temperatures that we may begin to have in the next few weeks – that prompts horses and ponies to begin to change their coats.

Its been a bit hit and miss with the weather by us. Some days its just been overcast and others heavy rain (it seemed to always wait until I finished work, loaded the car and was on my way to the yard before it let rip with the downpours grrrr)!
I was so pleased to be going to Trailblazers. Yes it was unaffiliated, but honestly I was just so pleased to be going somewhere, anywhere for an actual overnight stay, and with the horses.
Diva and I were very sorry to see Jackson return home to my sister, though it has been an easy time for me with only Diva and Mabel to look after.

Diva and Jackson have travelled to shows together several times but, as we try to enter Jackson for gelding-only classes rather than mixed mare and gelding ones, they had never competed in the same class.
Bob and I had our second lesson with out new instructor and all I can say is wow (plus I also stayed aboard – just!)!
